SAFETY & CARE

Wearing a mask is optional if you have received a COVID-19 vaccine, but if you are unvaccinated we'd strongly recommend you to wear a mask when you are not eating or drinking. Unvaccinated guests are required to get tested prior to attending the event.

GETTING HERE

Great Barrington is approximately 2.5 hours away from both NYC and Boston by car, 1.5 hours away from Hartford, and 1 hour away from Albany. Please find information on how to get to the venue from these four nearby cities below.

From Port Authority Bus Terminal, you can take the Peter Pan bus that goes directly to Great Barrington (3hr).

Please get off at the bus stop in front of CVS (362 Main St, Great Barrington) in the downtown area. From there to the venue, it takes less than 10 minutes by car.

All public transportation routes from Boston to Great Barrington require at least 2 transfers. We would like to recommend our guests to drive. For those of you who don't have access to a car, please get in touch to set up a carpool with other guests.

ALB — GREAT BARRINGTON

From Albany Bus Terminal, you can take the Peter Pan bus that goes to Pittsfield (1hr) and transfer to the bus that goes to Stockbridge (30min).

Please get off at the bus stop (37 Main St, Stockbridge) across from the Red Lion Inn. From there to the venue, it takes less than 15 minutes by car.

THINGS TO DO

Come hang out with us and our family at 250 Long Pond! We are staying at the estate from Monday evening, October 4th through Wednesday afternoon, October 6th. The estate has a big lawn for people to hang out, fire pit, and hiking trails.

There are also lots of other amazing outdoor adventures to explore in this area. Not so much into hiking? There are plenty of cultural activities and restaurants/cafés to enjoy.

250 LONG POND

The property has 120 acres of forest, cliffs, springs, and the Williams River. Hiking trails (4-8 miles) are marked with orange, red, and green paint.

PFEIFFER ARBORETUM

The arboretum is located right across the road from the end of the driveway of 250 Long Pond and has a mellow half mile trail to beautiful Long Pond.

THE MOUNT

Edith Wharton's home. This 50-acre estate was designed and built by the writer herself, including the restored mansion, gatehouse, stable, gardens, and greenhouse.
